Consultation to help parents better understand special education and help school districts ensure that policies and procedures are in line with best practices.

For Parents

The certified school psychologists of the Cohen Institute are adept at navigating the special education process from start to finish, and can assist parents in better understanding a wide range of topics, including psychoeducational evaluation reports, school-based intervention data, and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

For Educators

The Cohen Institute also provides consultation services to individual schools and school districts who are in need of assistance in developing evidence-based policies and procedures. Consultation services may be provided on a one-time or ongoing basis, depending on the need and scope of work desired.
